The Certificate Course on “Nayamīmāṁsā in Jain Philosophy” is a comprehensive three-month online academic programme jointly organized by Samyakgyan Prachar-Prasar Trust, Jaipur, and the Jain Anusheelan Kendra, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. The programme is designed to provide participants with a systematic and in-depth understanding of the Jain doctrine of Naya (standpoints) — one of the most distinctive and significant contributions of Jain Philosophy.
The course introduces learners to the foundational concepts of Jain Logic, including Pramāṇa, Naya, and Syādvāda, while exploring the philosophical foundations, classifications, and practical significance of various Nayas. Through a structured study of Niścaya–Vyavahāra Naya, Dravyārthika–Paryāyārthika Naya, and the classical seven Nayas, participants will gain a deeper insight into the Jain approach to understanding reality from multiple perspectives.
Combining theoretical inquiry with practical reflection, the programme seeks to cultivate critical thinking, intellectual openness, and a deeper appreciation of Anekānta. Through expert lectures, interactive discussions, assignments, creative learning activities, and academic evaluation, participants will engage meaningfully with the rich epistemological traditions of Jain thought.
As this programme is being conducted in association with the Jain Anusheelan Kendra, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, participants will receive a jointly issued certificate upon successful completion of the course. “जैन दर्शन में नयमीमांसा” विषय पर आधारित यह प्रमाण-पत्र पाठ्यक्रम एक व्यापक त्रैमासिक ऑनलाइन शैक्षणिक कार्यक्रम है, जिसका आयोजन सम्यग्ज्ञान प्रचार-प्रसार ट्रस्ट, जयपुर एवं जैन अनुशीलन केन्द्र, राजस्थान विश्वविद्यालय, जयपुर के संयुक्त तत्त्वावधान में किया जा रहा है। यह कार्यक्रम प्रतिभागियों को जैन दर्शन के नय (दृष्टिकोण) सिद्धान्त — जो जैन दर्शन की सर्वाधिक विशिष्ट एवं महत्त्वपूर्ण देनों में से एक है — का क्रमबद्ध एवं गहन अध्ययन प्रदान करने हेतु निर्मित किया गया है।
यह पाठ्यक्रम प्रतिभागियों को प्रमाण, नय एवं स्याद्वाद सहित जैन न्याय की मूलभूत अवधारणाओं से परिचित कराता है तथा विभिन्न नयों के दार्शनिक आधार, वर्गीकरण एवं व्यावहारिक महत्त्व का अन्वेषण करता है। निश्चय–व्यवहार नय, द्रव्यार्थिक–पर्यायार्थिक नय तथा शास्त्रीय सप्त नयों के क्रमबद्ध अध्ययन के माध्यम से प्रतिभागी वस्तु-तत्त्व को अनेक दृष्टिकोणों से समझने की जैन पद्धति की गहन अन्तर्दृष्टि प्राप्त करेंगे।
