General information
The content of sgpt.in is published in good faith for general information, study and education. We take care to keep it accurate and current, but we make no promise that it is complete, free of errors, or suited to any particular purpose, and we may change or remove it at any time without notice.
Scholarly & spiritual content
Articles, lectures, podcasts and course material on Jain Darshan, Prakrit, Sanskrit and manuscripts present the understanding of the scholars and authors who wrote them. The tradition holds many interpretations; where scholars differ, we aim to say so, but the views expressed by an author, guest scholar or speaker are their own and are not necessarily those of the trust.
This content is for learning and reflection. It is not a substitute for the guidance of a qualified teacher in matters of practice, nor for professional advice — legal, financial, medical or academic — about a decision of your own.
Translations & transliterations
Many texts appear in Prakrit or Sanskrit with English or Hindi renderings. Translations are aids to understanding and may not capture every nuance of the original; for close study, refer to the original text and its recognised editions. Where English and Hindi versions of a page differ, the meaning of the original source prevails.
Programmes, dates & figures
Details of workshops, courses, Educational Financial Assistance, Free Accommodation, internships and other programmes — dates, venues, faculty, seats, fees and benefits — are correct when published but may change. The programme page, and any confirmation the trust sends you, are the reference. Information about a programme is not an offer of admission, funding or employment (see our Terms of Use).
Testimonials & photographs
Testimonials are the personal experiences of past participants; another person’s experience may differ. Photographs are of the trust’s own events unless a caption or note says otherwise. If you appear in a photograph or testimonial and would like it removed, write to us and we will do so.
External links & embedded content
Links to other websites, and embedded maps or videos, are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices; a link is not an endorsement. The trust’s own separate services — the Academy, the Career Path counselling portal, Patrika, the E-Library and the donation portal — have their own terms.
Availability
We aim to keep the website available at all times but cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of technical faults, and we may take it offline for maintenance.
Limitation of liability
You use the website and rely on its content at your own discretion. To the fullest extent the law allows, the trust, its trustees, staff and volunteers are not liable for any loss arising from that use or reliance. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
